I think Sharon Osbourne is about the worst thing to happen to metal in a long long time. How many bands have had to pay ridiculous amounts of money for the "privelege' to play the second stage of Ozzfest at 11:30 in the morning? Sharon was also behind the removing and re-recording of all the drum and bass tracks from classic era Ozzy records so she could avoid paying the original musicians their due. (so avoid those re-issues) As for the Maiden issue, if she had a real problem with Maiden talking smack then she had the power to boot them off the tour as quietly or as publicly as she wanted at any time. Instead she chose to sabotage her own Ozzfest show while completely disregarding the loyalty of her own audience who paid a lot of cash to not only see Ozzy but Maiden as well so she could indulge a childish mean streak.
I also believe the reason the Ozzy camp tried to derail Heaven and Hell was the plain fact that Dio and the rest of BLACK SABBATH can still play rings around the mess that is Ozzy's band of hired guns, and also, is there honestly anyone left who doesnt see Ozzy as anything but a quivering rambling old man? Anything Bruce Dickinson allegedly said has got some real grounding in truth and even the biggest Ozzy/Sharon supporter can see that. Has anyone actually heard or seen any footage of Maiden busting Ozzy's balls?
And another thing. Ozzfest is free this year. Big deal. Id rather pay 50 bucks to see GWAR at Sounds of the Underground than to see those watered down Finnish Gwar wannabes Lordi for free any day.
Oh, and anyone who has spent more than 2 hours of their life watching "The Osbournes" really needs to be taken out to the desert and shot.
Thats my thoughts.

There aren't many people I'd like to see torn apart by wolfs, while her husband attempts to jump over her on a quad-fails-and crashes into the hole fiasco horrably maiming all except the hungry wolfs. But Sharon Osborne probably tastes like 190lbs. of tuna shit, so that'll never happen. I hate that icey souless slunt, and I don't know what she did to Ozzie's soul, but I wish she hadn't. Who the fuck throws eggs anyway?
