How would a locksmith or body shop mechanic be able to open |
|
a car door in which the lock is jammed?
the locking mechanism inside the door is not pushing the lock open for some reason..i think the little plastic wheel that is attached the rods inside that push the lock open is not pushing the rods over far enough..but might be the lock is jammed.

I will be putting an anti-theft system in my car, but not a standard alarm type. I will probably go with a Ravelco which is what I have in my 67 Firebird, and a LoJack system for classic cars. The Lojack has an alarm notification like a standard alarm, but then can be found even if they get it. Between the 2 systems, the only way it can be stolen is if it is towed, and even then, there is a good chance it will be recovered quickly.
